Georgia Civil Practice Act
The Georgia Civil Practice Act sets the rules of procedure for trial courts.
The table below summarizes how the Georgia Civil Practice Act applies to probate court litigation in courts that can and cannot hold jury trials. Probate courts in counties with more than 96,000 people are eligible to hold jury trials. Probate courts in counties with less than 96,000 people are not eligible to hold jury trials.
Population size is determined by Georgia's 2000 census data.
